ARTICOLARI
We played with sculptures using our design pieces as dice of the lego: what can be functional is not said to be used, and what is nice to look at is not said that it cannot be used.
The Articolari project develops the idea of creating synthetic forms that link artistic sculpture to the pure and linear object of daily use.
An installation of five islands of shattered glass on which the works that play between Design and Sculpture, between utility and visual pleasure are positioned.
The thirty-two pieces that make up five works are characterized by the absence of decoration and color and appear gray as if they were raw to address the
spectator directly to the concept that inspired them.
the installation also consists of six medical RX plates on which the human joints appear superimposed with the lines of the project, explaining the concept: Multiple, Joint and Joint.
Last part of the installation: five truncated Plexiglas pyramids, one for each exhibition island, through which you can observe the decomposed sculpture by doing the opposite path and bringing it back to pieces of design.

Join in order to allow certain movements
To be distinct in parts, to divide oneself
Order in a series whose members are logically joined
Organize in a rational and widespread way
Divide in several stages
Move in naturally permitted ways.
THE MULTIPLE
The eight pieces that make up DENTI start from sketches in which we mainly think about seriality and form.
The basic shapes and the basic lines are always the same, only the relationships between the parts and their dimensions change.
THE JOINT
The ELBOW is born from these same forms, which are tied two by two.
After the reasoning on the visual structure, we move on to the study of the joint that joins two equal parts, letting them move freely in space. These pieces are simultaneously dependent, interdependent and independent.
The INTERLOCKING
The third step of the project leads to ANCA and WRIST and consists of the interlocking of the figures with each other.
Through the grafting of objects, which dig and extrude their negatives by designing their own space on each other's surface, the pieces fit together firmly forming a unitary sculpture given by the continuum of the lines of force, full and empty .
Again, however, each part is accomplished in itself and can be separated from the rest.
MULTIPLE JOINT INTERLOCKING
The VERTEBRAL COLUMN that directly or indirectly supports each limb, wants to close the project by bringing together the three stylistic elements used: multiple, joint and joint.
The vertebrae are repeated four by four, they wind on the concave and convex parts and fit between protuberances, grooves and holes.
